Adding/Pairing Kids Devices

1. Install EarnIt! on the parent device
2. From the main menu select "Children List" and "Add Child"
3. Once you've entered a name and optional phone number a QR code is generated.
4. Now, from the child device install EarnIt! and select Child on the login screen.
5. Follow the prompts to allow the app to use the device camera and location.
6. Select to scan the pairing code or manually enter the code on your child's device.

Adding Tasks

1. From any screen select the float menu and choose either "Quick Task" or "Add Task"
2. Enter the Title, the goal the task will credit when complete, the value and Due Date (start date for recurring tasks)
3. Select an optional icon, whether to require a photo for approval
4. Select whether to lock apps if a chore becomes over due
5. When creating a chore you can assign to any child in your family
6. Choose whether the tasks should repeat daily, weekly, or monthly
7. Create a "Quick Task"

Balance Adjustments

1. Select Balances from the menu and Adjust on the balance screen
2. Select the goal, the amount to adjust, and the value

Blocking Apps

1. Parents can block apps manually, or choose to lock apps if a chore is overdue
2. If your child is using an Android device you can monitor app usage and block on demand.
3. When creating a new chore simply select the Block Apps if overdue and select which apps to block in the event the tasks becomes overdue.

Delete or Approve Multiple Chores - iOS

1. Select "All Tasks" from the float menu
2. Select the checkbox to the right of each chore
3. Select Delete or Approve at the bottom of the screen

Delete or Approve Multiple Chores - Android

1. Select "Delete Multiple" from the bottom right of the screen
2. Check the boxes next to each chore you would like to delete
3. To Approve pending approval tasks, select "Approve Multiple" in the upper right of the screen
4. Check the boxes next to each chore to approve, then select "Approve" at the bottom of the screen

Geo Fencing

1. From the main float menu in the upper right of the screen select Geofencing
2. Enter the name of the location
3. Enter the address of the location
4. Enter the distance you would like to trigger the notification for in and out of zone
5. Save the location

Recurring Tasks

Daily

1. Entering 2 schedules the chore to repeat every other day regardless of date
2. If a task is due on a specific day of the week it's better to use the weekly schedule option
3. The start date begins when the "Due Date" is entered in the previous field

Weekly

1. Entering 1 schedules the chore to replease each week on the selected days
2. The task will repeat until deleted
3. Future releases of EarnIt! will include optional end dates for recurring chores

Monthly

1. Monthly chores are scheduled to repeat on a specific date/s of the month
2. The start date begins when the "Due Date" is entered in the previous field
3. Future releases of EarnIt! will include optional end dates for recurring chores
